When talking about International Expansion for MLM companies it is important to know about how they grow to begin with.  All businesses in MLM go through 4 phases of growth:  Formulation, Concentration, MOMENTUM, and Stability.  Most companies never make it out of Formulation.  Concentration is when the company is getting its act together and working out all of the bugs, as well as building a following.  Momentum is the time when a company has become streamlined and has grabbed the attention of the consumers.  The growth is massive and fast.  We all know the companies in Stability, they are now household names.  Those lucky few who got involved with a company Pre-Momentum are now millionaires.  They rode the wave all the way to the bank.  That is how this industry has created more millionaires than any other in history.

So, how does this apply to international expansion and what does it mean to you?  The period of momentum typically lasts 5 to 7 years PER COUNTRY.  So what this means is that when a company starts in the U.S. it typically goes into momentum at the same time it goes international.  It starts to spread across the world and has multiple periods of momentum.  The income generated for those in the states that kick over the first domino is astronomical not to mention those who are the first people in other countries to expose their countrymen.  To put it simply, international expansion means more money for all involved IF YOU GET INVOLVED BEFORE MOMENTUM!

To all of my readers I apologize for disappearing on you!  I have been absent from the internet for the most part for months now.  Let me explain what has been happening.

For those of you who are in the MLM industry you know there are really two worlds or philosophies in the industry.  I refer to them as “high tech” and high touch”.  What I am referring to is warm market or direct marketing versus internet marketing.  They are both important and essential to be successful in today’s market.  I, however, still haven’t figured out how to really balance them effectively.  Which goes to show you that you are constantly learning and growing in this business.

In the final 3 months of 2010 including January of this year I have had incredible success marketing face to face.  Not because I am anything special, but because I am following a system.  My company has really kicked things up a notch and turned up the heat in the travel industry.  So I followed the system and haven’t looked back since.  Unfortunately, that didn’t leave much room to write a blog post or approve comments or tweet or facebook market.

So now to my EPIPHANY!  Up to now I have been writing blog posts about the nuts and bolts of successful internet marketing and video marketing and extolling the virtues of various marketing systems as well and their creators.  I am not, by any means, an expert on the subject but this blog gets 100 plus visitors a day and I get a lot of comments so I think I know enough to speak on the subject.  I am also the co-creator of The MLM Spot which is a very successful blog.  I am now shifting my way of thinking in terms of the direction of this blog.  I am still going to endorse the MLM Marketing Systems that have helped me like The Renegade Marketer and MLM Lead System Pro , among others.  However, my focus will be more on helping you readers learn more about the incredible power of my business and how using these marketing systems has helped me grow it.

So moving forward into the future I will talking about the power and position of WorldVentures in the marketplace, as well as the travel industries place in the world of MLM.  Also, in my next post come read about a wave that is coming in Social Networking that you can either ride or be swept away by.

What Are You Doing That Positively Effects Those You Love!

If you would all indulge me for just a moment I would like to speak on an intense passion of mine and speak directly to any men reading this post.  (Don’t worry ladies you are next!)

Travel with me if you would into the past when a man’s number one concern was “his good name”.   Way back to a past when a man’s concern centered on what his LEGACY was.  What was he going to leave his children’s, children’s, children that would effect them in a positive way.  They would work themselves to the bone and risk life and limb to accomplish this.  A man would effectively shorten his own life in order to ensure a good one for his family.

Times have changed a little haven’t they?  I believe that the times we live in have altered a mans means and priorities a little bit.  Don’t get me wrong, he still cares and loves his family.  He still wants the best for them and works very hard, but things have become more difficult.  A wife and child’s future is a little more shaky in today’s society.  In most cases, it doesn’t matter how hard a man works, his best efforts can still leave a widowed wife and a fatherless child struggling after he is gone.  A wealthy man has no worries but do your research and discover what percentage of the populace he represents.

So guys what can we do?  Well, start a business and become wealthy.  Invest $1,000,000 and watch the cash roll in that would keep your family safe for generations to come…one problem…a vast portion of us are doomed to work our whole lives to even earn $1,000,000.  A man trading time for money just can’t accomplish the future he envisions for his family.

I have painted a bleak picture haven’t I?  But don’t worry guys there is definitely hope!

Right now you must set into motion your 100 year plan!

What is this?  Well, the 100 Year Plan is based in the concept of creating a residual income.  What I mean is, work hard now for something that pays you forever!  In most cases only actors, writers, inventors, and career politicians have access to this ability.  Well no longer!  Remember what I said before.  Times have changed.  There has been a significant shift in the way things are done in the world.  In a stroke of extreme irony the tough times and the recession have given the average husband and father the means to accomplish the same things his ancestors strove for, security and happiness and prosperity for his progeny.

What I am getting at is, according to CNN Money, in tough times a few sectors of the economy seem to flourish.  The question that must be answered is:  How do we take advantage?

Well the easiest way to accomplish this is in Network Marketing, or MLM.  Studies show that in history MLM has been able to do more for people in a supplemental capacity when times are tough.  Massive amounts of money have been made in the networking industry in times of economic strife, where a group of smart people positioned themselves to take advantage of the trend.  It is a fact that, when done properly and in the right industry, MLM is a phenomenally powerful vehicle that can be used to accomplish financial freedom.  Click here to learn more about network marketing and its current place in the worlds’ economy.

Mike Dillard creator of Magnetic Sponsoring

Here in this article I’m going to answer two questions: Who is Mike Dillard? and What is Magnetic Sponsoring?  So let me tell you what I learned and give you a little back story.

One thing I know for sure is that all marketers, whether in MLM or not, must continually educate themselves.  If you fail to feed your marketing mind it will fail you.  Your ideas will cease to be fresh.  Your speech will cease to inspire.  Consequently, your business will suffer.  Luckily, I am a marketing junky so I was looking for fresh ideas.  I had already been introduced to the idea of attraction marketing and the concept of monetizing by Ann Sieg and The Renegade Marketer.  My business partner introduced me to the marketing stylings of Mike Dillard and his masterpiece Magnetic Sponsoring.  After reading a few sentences I knew I had found something special.

I appreciate plain speech and direct messages.  Mike Dillard is about as plain and direct as a person can get.  He tells you what you need to hear and never what you want to hear.  He will not coddle you but will always deliver what you need to know to succeed.  Mike is from Texas and has had an interesting journey in the industry.  I think that is what has helped him create his unique style of educating.  From his teachings I learned new marketing strategies as well as the proper way to conduct my business.

Mike’s creation Magnetic Sponsoring was born out of a general discontent and disgust with MLM and the traditional ways of doing business.  He knew there was a better way of doing things.  So he set out to create a better mousetrap.  MS delivers a no nonsense message highlighting the concept of  “working smarter, not harder”.  Network Marketing is hard enough without shooting yourself in the foot by being inefficient.

What MS is, is an Internet Marketing System using incredible marketing concepts that can be used in any industry.  I know for a fact that MS has changed the lives and careers of some huge network marketers.  Just to name a few: Brian Fanale, Norbert Orlewicz, Ty Tribble, and Jonathan Budd.

If it can help do for me what it did for them then buying it would be the smartest money I have ever spent!  So I did and it has changed the course of my MLM career.  My marketing efforts have gone from driving a clunker Volvo to a Ferrari.

A little more than a year ago I was desperate.  I had become completely stagnant in my MLM and had quit that company.  I was considering joining another.  I was even considering writing the industry off entirely.  I’m sure this sounds familiar to you.  Something needed to happen, and it needed to happen yesterday!  This is what happened to me.

Ann Sieg The Renegade Network Marketer

I decided to do some research on this new opportunity on the internet.  If you are like me when you surf the internet, whenever something shiny pops up you get distracted.  I’m so glad it happened this time.  What I came across was a sales letter written by Ann Sieg that introduced me to The Renegade Network Marketer.  We have all seen these emails and adds on the internet trying to showcase the next big thing that is going to change everything and magically make us successful.  This was different and besides I just happened to be in the right frame of mind…I needed help!  What I saw and read made me feel like I had dunked my head in a tub full of ice water.

The first thing Ann shared with me was THE TRUTH in the form of a free e-book called 7 Great Lies of Network Marketing that exposed the industry.  Here was an uber-successful marketer giving me what I felt was a personal message.  I instantly felt like maybe I could pull this MLM thing off.  What Ann Sieg introduced me to was a concept new to me…Attraction Marketing!  In a nutshell the concept of attraction marketing is making yourself available to the people who are actually looking for what you have.  After running myself ragged to build a modest but respectable team, only to see it crumble, this was a breath of fresh air!  So I really studied this concept and realized that this was the way I wanted to run my business going forward.  Problem was I had no idea where to start.  Enter The Renegade Marketer.

What Ann introduced me to, in addition to the concept of attraction marketing, was a system to help me accomplish it.  The Renegade became my teacher.  It also became, believe it or not, my ATM.  Let me explain.  One of the reasons network marketers fail is they do not make enough money up front early in their business to support all of their efforts.  All of the expenses for startup and maintaining their business becomes to much to carry and it collapses.  Making this money up front is what experienced marketers call MONETIZING your marketing.  Basically the concept is there needs to be something that people will be interested in buying before they even see your opportunity.  This allows them to become your customer before they have a chance to say no to your biz opp.  The Renegade Marketing System has included in it many, many ways to make money and helps you monetize everything across the board.

So the results over a year later are that I don’t chase prospects anymore.  I have learned to work smarter not harder.  As a matter of fact you are on a website and are reading a post that I have learned how to do from Ann Sieg and The Renegade Network Marketer.  Give Ann Sieg and the Renegade Marketer a look for yourself and find out if it can do for you what it did for me.

I have studied many Network Marketing companies and I have found something very interesting.  Travel MLMs.  The first thing I wanted to find out is: Are travel MLMs scams?  My first impression was yes they were, but if experience has taught me anything it is things are not always what they appear to be in this industry.  My other experiences with Network Marketing companies had conditioned me to believe that there has to be a physical product that a potential customer can hold, taste or even smell.  As I dug, I found that if there is an actual travel product then it could produce something to hold, taste and smell.  So, providing it’s legitimacy, a travel MLM would be very powerfull indeed.  The more I dug the more I started seeing one company more than others, WorldVentures.  Let me tell you what I found.

First of all, there are a few important questions I ask to determine if a company is legit.  Is the company old enough?  Is it young enough?  Is it a US based company?  Has the company expanded worldwide?  What is their annual revenue?  Are they in debt?  And a few more.

So I asked all of these about WorldVentures.  The most amazing thing is I couldn’t find anything negative about this company.  All of the questions answered were positive.  Here is what I found out.  The company was founded in December 2005.  A perfect age for a successful company for both the company and reps.  CHECK. It is based in Plano Texas (just outside of Dallas), USA.  CHECK. WorldVentures has now expanded into 14 other countries.  CHECK. Since their inception they have generated over 300 million dollars in revenue.  CHECK. After 3 months they were debt free as a company.  DOUBLE CHECK! I told you.

I also found that in 2010 World Ventures was named one of Direct Selling News’ “Global 100″, the 100 largest Direct Sales Companies Worldwide.  In business all of these things are called clues.

Then I decided to look into the Executive Team.  I was astounded.  The founders and the Chief Marketing and Technology Officer are very well known in the network marketing community.  Mike Azcue, and Wayne Nugent have built massive teams and downlines in their own right.  Mike Azcue is now the CEO and Wayne Nugent is the Chief Visionary Officer.  To top it all off the man in charge of marketing is none other than Dan Stammen who built a massive team in Pre-Paid Legal.  He sold his business with them and then joined WorldVentures.

One other question I wanted to ask was:  Is there any money to be made in a travel mlm?  I found this video on Youtube.  It is the CEO of WorldVentures and their national convention.  Check this out!

The last little bit of investigating I did was on their two products.  The first is a Travel website called Rovia.  It is performing very well in direct competition with the big boys (Expedia, Travelocity, etc.).  The second product is a vacation club called DreamTrips.  This is their flagship product.  Their are to many details to get into, but it is safe to say that DreamTrips is the reason they are doing so well.

For Network Marketers just starting out or those just needing to start over, the best place to begin is always at the beginning.  This information while simple and basic is essential for success.

The 3 Critical Questions For Success in MLM/Network Marketing are:

-Network Marketing, what is it really?

-Is becoming a Network Marketer a good idea?

-How do I know if an opportunity is good?  And how do I act on that?

So, what is network marketing?  At first glance, an easy answer, but in reality not so much.

The real world definition of Network Marketing is:  People of like minds come together and market a product or service to the public.  A simple way to put a complicated thing.  When you really look at MLM closely it means so much more.  Network Marketing has become recession proof.  Stock market trends and corporate bailouts do not apply to us.  Simply put it is the only efficient way to do business.  This leads us nicely to the next question.

Is becoming a network marketer a good idea?  To answer that question you must first look into the past.  Studies show that in times of economic troubles the industry experiences record growth.  We just happen today to be in the worse recession since the great depression, so you can expect the industry to continue to grow.  There is no time like now to be involved in MLM.  Include the tax benefits inherent in home based business and you can say, yes it is a very good idea!  Lets move on to the next question.

The third question is probably the most critical.  What makes a network marketing company good?  Here is a list of criteria that I have found to be the most important.

-How long has the company been in operation?  Around 4 years is the best age to get involved.

-Is the market already flooded with this companies product?  The more people already know about this product the less opportunity you have to make an impact.

-Are they viewed favorably by the FTC and BBB. Look on their websites to find out.

-Are they in any litigation? Self explanatory.

-Company must be easily marketed to the public.

-Is the comp plan easy to understand and more importantly is it easy to explain?  The simpler the better.  I think binary is the best.

So now you have gotten the most important questions answered and you want to move forward.  What is next?  The easiest and fastest way to succeed is to plug into a marketing system.  You must learn to utilize internet marketing.
